Fall Social Event 2018

The Branch has held a Fall social event for the past few years.  This is not a business meeting, but a way for members to get together for a light lunch and get to know each other. Our 2018 Fall event was planned for October 15.  Unfortunately, due to a low response rate, we were forced to cancel this years' event.

We will be trying to develop methods to better inform our membership of upcoming events.  Email will still be a primary method, so please make sure your email address is up to date with the Association.  You can update your information on our Change of Information Form.

You can also control your communications preferences with the Association by logging in to the National website at federalretirees.ca and editing the "My Profile" and "My Communications Preferences" sections.

2018 Annual General Meeting

Our 2018 Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday April 18 at the Perth Civitan Hall.  Attendees had a chance to view a number of displays presented by Preferred Partners and other associations of interest to seniors.  As well as the normal business portion of the meeting, a presentation by Leslie Lentz from Canopy Growth Corp. was well received by the members.  An overview of various topics related to the emerging legalization of Cannabis was presented, followed by a question and answer period.

Documentation from the 2018 Branch Annual General Meeting is available online.  Two documents were handed out at the meeting on April 18, 2018.  One document was the meeting agenda, plus the minutes from the 2017 AGM.  The other is the Annual Report, covering activities for the calendar year 2017.  Click on an item below to view these documents.
