    President Steve called the mtg. to order at 12:55.

    Motion for approval by Ed Rockburne; seconded by Jim.

  4. MINUTES OF MEETING (6 Mar. 2017)
    Motion to accept Minutes by Jim; seconded by Roy. 

  5. BUSINESS ARISING FROM MINUTES

    1. 2017 AGM: Draft Annual Report distributed & discussed - Financial Statement clarified (based on Ntl’s advice); revision to Health Benefits Officer’s Report; inclusion of Roy’s name to Exec.; typo in Almonte in Concert date; list of Exec. up for Election. Final draft of Special Events Funds proposal was tabled; reviewed and order of presentation at AGM clarified.
      Steve advised of current difficulties contacting key speaker, to date.
      Steve has overhead projector & banner; Ed. C. has sound equipment reserved; Judy has name tags, tickets, pens, etc.
    2. 2013 is latest update of You & Your Survivor’s book, with new release planned for end of 2017. New version will be available online only.   Concern that no hard copies are going to be printed, was discussed - Steve advised this concern will be brought up at May Regional Mtg.

  6.  REPORT OF OFFICERS

  8. CORRESPONDENCE
    Bulletin March 2017 - Current Canada Post restrictions were discussed: re: incorrect or outdated abbreviations; rural mail requiring civic addresses, etc.

    1. Resolution: Lynda’s draft resolution for Ntl. to provide hard copies of info to Branches (& seniors) – if requested – was discussed. Draft to be discussed at Reg.

      Mtg.    Cleanup of logins (after member’s death) was also discussed.
